Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell has been reappointed to the Texas Judicial Council. This is Judge Gravell’s third term on the Council.
“I am humbled and grateful to continue to serve on the Texas Judicial Council to help to better administer justice in the state of Texas,” said County Judge Bill Gravell.
In the letter reappointing Judge Gravell to the Council, Judge Nathan L. Hecht, chair of the Texas Judicial Council, said, “Your knowledge and experience has proven to be extremely beneficial to the Council, and I look forward to your future contributions.”
Judge Gravell’s appointment will expire on February 1, 2027.
The Texas Judicial Council was created by the Legislature to continuously study and report on the organization and practices of the Texas Judicial Branch. It is the policy-making body for the state judiciary.
