The public is invited to learn more about the Williamson County bond election and proposed projects at informational open houses in October. The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved calling an election for two propositions on the Nov. 7, 2023, General Election ballot. Proposition A is for voters to decide on whether or not to authorize the issuance of bonds not to exceed $825 million principal amount for roads, and Proposition B is for issuing bonds not to exceed $59 million principal amount for parks and recreational purposes.
The meetings will be come-and-go events where the public is welcome to review exhibits and ask questions of county staff. There will be no formal presentation. All meetings are open from 5 to 7 p.m. Below is the schedule.
Oct. 3: Georgetown Annex, 100 Wilco Way, Georgetown
Oct. 5: Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail, Taylor
Oct. 10: J.B. and Hallie Jester Annex, 1801 E. Old Settlers Blvd, Round Rock
Oct. 19: Williamson County Cedar Park Annex, 350 Discovery Blvd., JP 2 Courtroom, Cedar Park
