WCRAS logo

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is set to Clear The Shelters on Saturday, August 26, starting with a pre-party the night before for a weekend dedicated to celebrating life-saving.

WCRAS will host their third PAWjama party on Friday, August 25. The shelter will stay open late from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All cats and kittens, plus any dogs invited to the party, will be free to adopt.

The following day, August 26, the shelter will participate in the nationwide Clear The Shelters adoption promotion in partnership with NBCUniversal Local and sponsored by Hill’s Science Diet. All pet adoptions will be FREE to good homes all day Saturday as a part of this nationwide effort. Hill's Science Diet will be on site to hand out free goodie bags to all adopters, and there will be ICE CREAM! As always, if you'd like your "pick of the litter," then don't wait and come adopt today!

Adopters can preview all adoptable pets at www.wilcotx.gov/pets and take advantage of the convenience of an appointment by emailing [email protected]. No appointments will be taken for the PAWjama Party; first-come, first-served for this fun-filled event! All adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, a microchip the shelter will register with the adopter’s contact information, age-appropriate vaccinations, and a voucher for a free wellness examination at a participating veterinary clinic.

Come adopt your new best friend and gain a lifetime of love and devotion.
