Williamson County Under Red Flag Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Williamson County for Friday, August 10, and Saturday, August 12, from noon to 9 p.m. This warning was issued due to high winds and low relative humidity. Red Flag Warnings are likely each afternoon over the next week. Williamson County is currently under a burn ban. Residents are being asked to please be careful not to participate in activities that may accidentally start a wildfire. 

-Properly dispose of cigarettes and matches
-Do not park on dry grass
-Do not use a lawn mower on weeds or dry grass
-Avoid outdoor burning and obey burn bans.
