Ronald Reagan Widening

Location: Ronald Reagan Boulevard from FM 3405 to SH 29

Description: This project includes making the existing road northbound only and building separate two lanes to act as a second frontage road, which will be southbound only. Both roads will include turn lanes at intersections and shoulders. The engineer, CP&Y, is working on designing the roadway. They anticipate it will be finalized by summer 2023. Status: Temporary Traffic Signal: The Santa Rita contractor, in conjunction with Liberty Hill ISD and Williamson County, is constructing temporary traffic signals at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Santa Rita Boulevard to help with increased vehicle traffic in the area. The contractor also will perform some re-striping on Ronald Reagan Boulevard to improve turning operations. Download a map (PNG) of the new striping The signal and striping are anticipated to be completed in late 2021, pending utilities and weather. A permanent light will be installed once the widening project takes place.
