Overview

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is a collaborative effort between Williamson County and the cities of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Hutto, and Leander. The shelter's objectives are to increase pet adoptions and lost pet reclaims; emphasize humane care for lost, unwanted, or displaced pets; assist animal control public safety efforts by providing a secure area for dangerous animals and a safe haven for strays; and reduce the costs to each participating entity through a shared regional facility.
