Judge Redden is a seasoned professional in county and city government serving over 28 of her 31 years as a civilian in law enforcement. She spent her last 10 years of service as the Crime Technician for Hutto Police Department before retiring in 2019. Judge Redden covered a wide range of responsibilities including death scene investigation, crime scene investigation, evidence collection and processing, and evidence management. You will also find her name at the City of College Station, Brazos County Sheriff's Department, and Bryan Police Department where she spent the first years in her career in a variety of positions including jail officer, sentencing coordinator for jail inmates, code enforcement, and utility administration. This combined experience has taken her through several years of court hearings on a diverse range of subjects across all levels from justice and municipal court to felony district court.
In addition to her dedicated service, Judge Redden pursued a bachelor's degree from Texas State University and received her B.A.A.S. in Occupational, Leadership and Workforce Studies and received certification as a Certified Public Manager in 2018. Judge Redden completed her master's degree in Legal Studies in 2020 at Texas State University where she was accepted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society with a 4.0 GPA.
