WCEMS is an official AHA BLS Training Center. We offer training for diverse organizations within the county. If you’re a healthcare provider, teacher, family caregiver, or anyone else interested in learning more about CPR please contact us. We are unable to provide training for sole students. Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory, or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Heartsaver First Aid
The Heartsaver First Aid course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Heartsaver CPR AED
The Heartsaver. CPR AED course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
BLS Provider Course and HeartCode BLS
The BLS Provider Course and HeartCode BLS classes are for healthcare professionals or those who are going into the healthcare profession.
The BLS Provider course is conducted in a classroom and teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
The HeartCode BLS course includes an online portion that can be completed either at work, home, or wherever students have Internet access. Upon successful completion of the online portion, students attend a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor.
Heartsaver Blended Learning
The Heartsaver Blended Learning course offers flexibility for employers, students, and Instructors. The eLearning (online) portion of the course is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid and/or CPR and AED training. Upon successful completion of the online portion, students attend a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor.
