The Wireless Communications Division of Technology Services is responsible for the integrity of Williamson County's Public Safety two-way radio communications system. This team works closely with 3rd party vendors and the RCS advisory board to ensure the reliability, stability, and operation of the county's Public Safety P25 trunking system. With multiple towers across Williamson County, the radio coverage plays an important role in dedicated, fast, and reliable communications between multiple agencies such as Fire, EMS, and Police. Wireless Communications also ensures the reliability of the subscriber radios on the radio system by providing annual calibrations in specification with the manufacturer's recommendations.
