The Tenth Annual Texas Conservation Symposium, co-sponsored by the Williamson County Conservation Foundation and Southwestern University, will be held January 18 and 19, 2024. The symposium is a multi-species, multi-disciplinary look at challenges, current knowledge, and innovative techniques and approaches to conservation, particularly for Texas species and habitats.

Registration is open!  Please register for in-person and/or remote; whichever is your anticipated method of attendance.  In-person space is limited, and refreshments will be supplied based on the number of in-person attendees registered.

The deadline for submission of title and abstracts for oral and poster presentations is 11:59 pm, November 17, 2023. All oral presentations are 15 minutes (10-12 minutes for presentation, 3-5 minutes for questions and answers).

We encourage posters. A poster can present a study in progress, preliminary data, a project proposal, or a review of a conversation topic, as well as a completed project.

This will be a hybrid meeting, with both in-person and virtual options for attendees. We encourage oral presentations to be in person, but we can accommodate remote oral presentations if needed. Poster presentations must be in person. Please let us know if your talk must be presented remotely.

The physical meeting will take place at the Williamson County Georgetown Annex, 100 Wilco Way, in Georgetown, TX.

Please send your title and abstract to Ben Pierce at [email protected]. Use the format in the attached sample below:
