Overview

Southwest Williamson County Regional Park offers eleven soccer fields, two softball fields, a football field and stadium with a 400-meter track, two softball fields, eight tennis courts, six basketball courts, one cricket field, cricket nets and a playscape. The park also includes a network of crushed granite and natural surface hike and bike trails. The Regional Park is home to the Quarry Splash Pad, operational between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day.

You can take a ride on the Cedar Rock Railroad miniature train or have your birthday party or group gathering near the train depot.

Cricket Facilities Guidelines

The Cricket facilities at the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park are made possible through a contractual partnership between Williamson County Parks Department and the Hill Country Cricket Association (HCCA). Cricket Field (Including Center Pitch)

  • Saturday and Sunday
    • Reserved for HCCA use exclusively.
    • Exceptions: On six pre-identified weekends each year, general public reservations can be made for organized team activities by the hour.
      • March 16-17, 2024
      • May 25-26, 2024
      • July 6-7, 2024
      • August 31-September 1, 2024
      • September 14-15, 2024
      • November 30-December 1, 2024
    • Fee-based reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis up to 30 days in advance. Refer to the Sports Courts/Fields Use and Rental Procedures (PDF) for the pre-identified weekends.
      • Online reservations are available 3 to 30 days in advance.
      • Phone reservations are available 0 to 30 days in advance: Call 512-943-1920 between 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Monday through Friday
    • General public use on a first-come, first-served basis. No organized team play or practice/games permitted; only group size of 5 or less in a recreational manner.
    • Exceptions: Monday and Tuesday between 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm (Time slots will adjust throughout the year based on sunset times), general public reservations can be made for organized team activities by the hour. Fee-based reservations available on a first-come, first-served basis, up to 30 days in advance. 
      • EXCEPTIONS: Cricket Field closed for maintenance March 4-15, 2024.
      • Online reservations are available 3 to 30 days in advance.
      • Phone reservations are available 0 to 30 days in advance: Call 512-943-1920 between 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Cricket Nets

  • The two nets on the west side of the cricket field are managed by Williamson County Parks Department for general public use. Fee-based reservations available on a first-come, first-served basis, up to 30 days in advance.
    • Online reservations are available 3 to 30 days in advance.
    • Phone reservations are available 0 to 30 days in advance: Call 512-943-1920 between 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
    • Same person is not permitted to make a reservation for both Cricket Nets 1 and 2 at the same time.
  • The five nets on the east side of the cricket field are managed by HCCA and reserved for HCCA use exclusively.

Note:

  • Metal cleats prohibited.
  • Golf and Baseball/Softball prohibited on all Cricket facilities.
